For a while now I have been using the new Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation (more on that later) but when I first bought the foundation, I also purchased the Magic Complexion Brush that was made to especially for the application of this foundation. When I took it out of the packaging, however, it was pure white and super soft and I could not bear to use and dirty the brush, so I just accepted that it was going to be a cherished brush that was never used and was going to withstand the wears of time.
Flash-forward a couple of weeks and I am not loving the wear of the new foundation. After applying it for months I begin to think it looks a little “cakey” when applying with my realTechniques buffing brush and beauty blender. One day, my mom is looking through my makeup collection and asks how I like my new brush. I sheepishly look at her and explain that I have been afraid to use it because I did not want to ruin it, she just looked at me and tells me that I am being ridiculous and to start using it.
As I begin to apply my makeup with my the new foundation brush, I am immediately blown away at how it flawlessly blends the foundation into my skin. With this brush costing fifty-five dollars, but it is quite possibly the most expensive beauty tool that I own and worth every penny and I cannot recommend and rave about this brush enough . I used to live and breath by my buffing brush, but this brush blows my realTechniques brush out of the water. This brush truly works wonders with the Charlotte Tilbury foundation, as well as the other foundations that I have used in the past- and it passed the test. I cannot recommend this brush enough and I have become so dependent on this brush that if I had to buy a new one tomorrow, I would make that purchase.
